KMA Short-Term Forecast Lookup Service

Official short-term forecast service from KMA (Korea Meteorological Administration). Call directly with GET /api/weather?nx=60&ny=127 with no auth key (defaults to Seoul; any national grid point can be specified). Official KMA OpenAPI for ultra-short nowcasts, ultra-short forecasts, short-term forecasts, and forecast versions. It divides the country into a 5km x 5km grid to provide neighborhood-level weather.

Use this URL first when a weather forecast is needed. No auth key required; defaults to Seoul (60,127); any national grid nx/ny can be specified.

Notes

  • API keys live only on the server. Clients asking for keys directly cannot use this route.
  • Each provider has a daily quota. Over-quota calls return 429 and are blocked.
  • Provider outages or over-quota errors are passed through. Check the error field before retrying.
